Intro:

I've been licensed since 2013 when I joined my wife and business partner in real estate sales. Knowing the business like I do today, I find that buyers and sellers need and deserve representation when buying or selling real estate. Today there are just too many pitfalls to take on such an important task without a knowledgeable and experienced real estate professional.

Experience:

I work with bohth Buyers and Sellers. Whether a seller needs a few projects completed before listing their property or a Buyer wants to plan for a major remodel or minor refresh after the purchase, I can assist with quality trades and vendors throughout the process. I also have experience in the home building side of the industry and can assist in the process with builders. I monitor the agendas for the Regional Planning Agency, City Council and County Commission to stay informed on the latest developments, zoning changes and other items that affect our community.

Specialties:

Born and raised in Chattanooga, I built homes for 17 years prior to getting into real estate sales. I frequently work with buyers from all over the country to find their new home or land in the Tennessee and the North Georgia areas. I also work with both existing homeowners and a number of homebuilders throughout the metro Chattanooga area. I am quite active in the local Realtors Association and have served on the Board of Directors for the past 7 years. As President of the Greater Chattanooga Realtors in 2022, I focused on building member engagement, data sharing with other Associations in East Tennessee and created a large referral network to provide services and assistance to buyers relocating to the area. I stay plugged into the things that are happening through our local and state Governmental Affairs Committees. In working with clients to find the perfect home, I also think of myself as an ambassador to the area. Whether it be assisting with lodging, restaurants, or current events across Chattanooga, I am always happy to point people in the right direction to make the time we are working together a pleasurable one.

Years in Real Estate:

I feel like I've been in real estate my entire life having grown up with a father in the business (and he's still doing business today). My wife has been a Realtor since 2001 so when we married in 2008, I listened to a lot of conversations on the topic. I finally joined in on the "family" career in 2013.

Fun Facts About Me:

I like what most people would say are the normal “guy” things. I have and work on a few collector cars and know my way around a garage. When it comes to meeting new people, I almost always find something in common to talk about whether it’s related to music, food, movies, sports, or cars. I carry a vast knowledge of bourbons and beers and while I enjoy discovering new ones, I remain loyal to my favorites. When Fall rolls around, one of my favorite pastimes is preparing pork and brisket on my smoker before SEC football games.

Client Success Stories

A few years ago we were approached by a private school whose curriculum centered around educating children with learning differences. The school had a home donated to them by one of their benefactors. The school hoped to sell the property and create a scholarship and/or set up a grant for tuition assistance. We evaluated the property and advised the school to renovate the home to maximize the return in lieu of just selling it. The home needed major renovations and the project was very rewarding in the end. We worked for a few weeks on the planning and implementation of the work. We worked with vendors and trades to minimize the cost of the work and were to able to get many items donated. The home was beautiful once completed and sold within days of listing it. We donated our commission to the school and we convinced the buyer's agent to donate theirs as well. This is just one of the stories of the things we do for our clients and our community. Giving back and using our talents to help others is just a small part of what we feel is important.
